Personal Taxes

What you will need to have us prepare your personal income taxes:

  • w2 forms
  • 1099 forms
  •  Letter 6419 – IRS letter states amount received for advance Child Tax Credit
  • Proof of essential medical coverage
  • Valid photo identification
  • Copy of Social Security Card or ITIN letter for taxpayer and dependents
  • Proof your dependents lived with you during the previous year
  • Proof of your relation to your dependents
  • Proof of any donations you performed during the year
  • If self employed, proof of income, expenses, business registrations and other relevant supporting information such as bank statements, business cards or log books.
  • Proof of vehicle expenses and milage and other transportation expenses
  • Copy of last year’s tax declaration.
  • Your Bank routing and account information for deposits and payments

  • Make an appointment through our online booking system or call us at 510-255-9194 to schedule.
  •  Come to the appointment on time (if anything changes let us know)
  • Bring all your documentation
  • You will be interviewed by the tax preparer  – Be ready to respond to several questions
  • The tax preparer will help you run calculations as needed
  • The tax preparer will make copies of your documents and provide the originals  back to you
  • You may be asked to provide additional supporting information
  • Be ready to spend 1 – 3 hours of your time depending on the complexity of the declaration
  • Your taxes will typically be electronically file to the IRS
